No tolls on Halifax Harbour Bridges Christmas Day.

If you plan to cross one of the Halifax Harbour bridges to visit family on Christmas Day, you won’t be charged for the toll.

Halifax Harbour Bridges announced Friday it will not be charging tolls on the Angus L Macdonald or A Murray MacKay Bridges Saturday, December 25, 2021 to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The toll-free period will be in effect for 24 hours starting at 12 a.m. Saturday morning.

“Not charging tolls on Christmas Day is a nice way to conclude the year and say thank you to our employees and customers,” said GM & CEO Steve Snider.
